PETKIT Reviews and Buying Notes

PETKIT sells connected pet-care devices, including automatic feeders. This independent hub focuses only on feeder differences that can be supported by current product documentation and approved product-library records.

Pet Product Compass is not PETKIT and is not an official PETKIT publication. Brand names identify the products being researched.

How the feeder line separates

The useful dividing line is not simply model age. It is the job the feeder is expected to do. Fresh Element Solo covers scheduled dry-food dispensing in a compact 3-liter format. YumShare Solo adds a camera and remote observation. YumShare Dual-hopper 2 moves to a 5-liter, two-compartment format with camera-based multi-cat recognition.

Those additions create tradeoffs as well as benefits. A camera adds monitoring and privacy decisions. A second hopper can mix or alternate dry foods, but it does not by itself create physically separate access for individual cats. Buyers should start with the feeding problem, then decide whether the added connected features justify the higher price position shown in the current source snapshot.

What this hub does not claim

We have not run long-term dispensing, app reliability, cleaning, noise, jam-rate, or camera-recognition tests on these products. Product pages and approved API records can establish documented capacity, connectivity, food-size limits, and advertised features; they cannot establish real-world durability or accuracy.

Prices, stock, subscriptions, app features, and retailer terms can change. Every commercial link remains disabled until the active US affiliate program and brand-specific rules are confirmed in the authenticated dashboard.

Start here when the job is scheduled dry-food dispensing, not remote observation. Its lower price position and simpler feature set make more sense than paying for a camera you will not use.

Best for
A one-pet dry-food routine that does not require video monitoring

PETKIT YumShare Solo with Camera

Choose the camera format for a defined monitoring need—such as checking visits while away—not because video is automatically better than a simpler feeder.

Best for
A one-pet routine where visual meal checks are worth the added cost and privacy decisions
Price note
$94.48 in the PartnerBoost US API snapshot checked July 15, 2026; recheck before buying.

Skip if: You do not want an indoor camera, only need scheduled dispensing, or need two food compartments.

The premium is easiest to justify when both hopper flexibility and monitoring solve real household problems. Multi-cat recognition should not be confused with a selective-access feeder.

Best for
Households that need two dry-food compartments plus camera-based meal context
Price note
$133.86 in the PartnerBoost US API snapshot checked July 15, 2026; recheck before buying.

Skip if: You need physically restricted access per cat, serve wet food, or will not use the camera and second hopper.
